Banknotes
The history of banknotes, or rather securities, dates back to the 7th century. During the Tang Dynasty in China, merchants and officials used vouchers to avoid transporting heavy coins. Sweden was the first European country to introduce paper money in 1661, and the Netherlands followed in 1814.
Banknotes are known for their beautiful and colorful designs. It is not without reason that it is a popular and interesting collecting area.
