Netherlands Overseas
Today, the Kingdom of the Netherlands consists of the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten, and the special municipalities of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba.
In the past, the kingdom consisted of a large number of colonies and overseas trading territories. Trade was organized through the VOC and the WIC. Well-known colonies were the Dutch East Indies and Suriname.
The coins of the Overseas Territories are very diverse in nature. The VOC and WIC had their own mints, as did the various colonies.
